sodium bifluoride Physical and chemical feature: It is a white powder crystal with toxicity. It is dissolved in water with strong acid smell. Its specific gravity is 2.08g/cm3. In wet air, it can absorb moisture and give out hydrogen fluoride. It can decompose into natrium fluoride and hydrogen fluoride when being heated. With high temperature, aluminium and aluminium alloy have the function of controlling the corrosion of NaHF2.

Usage: It can be used as food storing agent, the storing agent for the storage of animal sample and anatomy sample and preservative. It is also used for hyalography tin board processing, treating of textile removal of iron rust, insectproofing of leather and the processing of tinplate, etc. When being mixed with kalium bifluoride, it can be used as metal welding agent.
