anhydrous hydrogen fluoride Molecular formula: HF
anhydrous hydrogen fluoride Molecular weight: 20.01
anhydrous hydrogen fluoride Physical and chemical feature: AHF is a achromatic and transparent liquid under low
temperature. Its boiling point is 19.4, the
melting point is -83.37 and the specific
gravity is 1.008g/cm3(25/4). It easily volatilizes into smog under room
and common temperature. Owing to its active chemical feature, it can react on alkali,
metal, oxide and silicate, etc. Under certain condition, it can be freely mixed with water
into hydrofluoric acid with strong irritant smell, which will strongly corrode the eyes,
ears, nose and laryngitis mucons membrane, Moreover it seriously corrodes human tooth and
skeleton and calcificates them.
Technical Standard of AHF (GB7746-87)

Usage: AHF is widely used in atomic energy, chemical industry, petroleum, etc. It is a
strong oxidant and basic raw material for making the element of fluorine, fluoride
cold-producing medium, inorganic fluoride and all kinds of organic fluoride. It can also
be used in making hydrofluoric acid for all kinds of use, the processing of black lead and
catalyzer for organic compound as well as the making of hyalographic agent.
Packing: Steel cylinder 400L/320KG each.
